What sets All-Around Sports Camps apart?

The camps are owned and operated by two Portland Public Schools PE teachers with over 30 years combined teaching/coaching experience. Our mission is to expose kids to a variety of sports and activities allowing them to develop skills as athletes, but more importantly as great people! We are trained teachers and coaches who specialize in teaching skills and coaching students of all ability levels. Our assistant coaches are current and former college athletes who will help provide a high quality experience for campers.

What safety precautions are taken in order to keep campers safe?

Our staff is CPR and First Aid certified. We have a AED machine on site and have frequent water breaks in which we always have sunscreen available to reapply throughout the day.

How will you handle poor weather?

Campers will be brought inside immediately and we will use the indoor gymnasium.

What activities will my child participate in?

We will play a variety games and sports. Some of the favorites are Capture the Flag, Kickball, Basketball, Ultimate Frisbee, Pickle Ball, Wiffle Ball, Soccer, Teather Ball, Jack Pot, Floor Hockey and much more!

My child hasn’t played many sports before, is this camp for them?

All experience levels are welcome! We are teachers and coaches that pride ourselves on teaching! We love introducing students to new games and activities!

Is camp only for students who attend Forest Park or Lewis Elementary?

No! We welcome campers from other schools as well. If your child has friends who might be interested in joining them this summer, we’d love for you to pass along our information!

What if I have an emergency and can’t pick child up by 3:00?

You can contact the camp by phone and we will make arrangements for staff to wait with your child until you are able to pick them up.

What if we had a change of plans and can no longer attend camp? Can we get a refund?

What if my child will be gone part of the day?

No problem! Just alert us at check in and we’ll update you on where we will be at the school when you drop them off.

Should I pack a lunch for my child? What are lunch procedures?

Yes! Please pack your child a sack lunch and a snack. We will have 45 minutes to an hour lunch break/freetime for students to eat, play or rest. We have water stations to refill water bottles. Water Bottles are required for all campers.
